As a spin off to our Intuitive Eating 101 Webinar Series, we are now offering a virtual Intuitive Eating Group run by BALANCE Dietitian Chloe Cerino, MS, RD, CDN! This group will help you improve your relationship with food and learn to trust your body.

 


What is Intuitive Eating?

Intuitive Eating is a non-diet approach (meaning the focus is not on weight, a specific diet, or numbers) that helps you get back in touch with your natural internal hunger and fullness cues and cravings.

Benefits of Intuitive Eating?

Intuitive Eating is helpful for those recovering from a disordered relationship with food and their body including those struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, emotional eating.

Group Details

In the Intuitive Eating Group, you will be able to connect with others who are tired of hearing the destructive messages from diet culture and are ready to find food freedom and make peace with food and their bodies. In this group, we will dive into the principles of Intuitive Eating and discuss how they can support you in your life. The group will help you connect to your innate biological cues while putting aside all the diets, detoxes, and rules that keep you feeling disillusioned and frustrated. You’ll be able to build your resilience against diet culture’s loud messages, as well as connect with others who are also going through the same challenges as you. Every week, you’ll leave with practical tools and tips to implement intuitive eating back into your life. Ready to improve your relationship with food and trust your body?

DIETITIAN

Chloe Cerino is a registered dietitian at BALANCE eating disorder treatment center. She graduated with a dual Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and psychology at New York University before pursuing her Master’s degree at Teacher’s College, Columbia University in nutrition education. A former recovery coach at BALANCE, Chloe is thrilled to be back and to continue working with BALANCE’s wonderful clients and staff. She has five years of experience working with clients with eating disorders as well as a variety of other client populations. Chloe is a health at every size provider and a firm believer that all foods fit.
