Part Time Human Resources Specialist

BALANCE eating disorder treatment center is pleased to announce that we have a new opportunity available for the right candidate in our growing treatment center in the heart of Manhattan.  We are currently hiring for a Part Time Human Resources (HR) Specialist 

The position will be approximately 10 – 15 hours per week (with further growth opportunities).  Responsibilities include:

1.              Updating new employment contracts for current staff

2.              Preparing new employee contracts for new staff

3.              Assisting with background checks for new hires

4.              Scheduling interviews for new potential hires

5.              Assisting with interviewing and offers of employment

6.              Assisting with on-boarding and training of new hires

7.              Organizing and developing new trainings for current staff – clinical and professional development

8.              OMH Policy and Procedure Manual Trainings for new and current staff

9.              Maintaining Calendar of upcoming Annual Reviews with Staff

10.           Maintaining Calendar and keeping up-to-date records of all staff licenses, liability insurance, background check information, personal contact information

11.           On-boarding with new computer, Best Notes, Drop Box access, Microsoft Office installed, and printer configured

12.           Keys, passwords, emergency evacuation services etc

13.           IT troubleshooter  - maintain, organize and keep track of all computers and IT hardware.   Trouble shoot IT concerns (computers, printers, wifi etc)

14.           Support the CEO in specialty projects as needed
