BALANCE eating disorder treatment center, a premium treatment center in Manhattan, is seeking a highly motivated, passionate Outreach Assistant to join our expanding team!

The Position
The Outreach Assistant position is an integral role at BALANCE eating disorder center™. Relationship building with members of the media, professional contacts, and potential partners, helps maintain the identity and reputation of the BALANCE, evaluates public opinion of clients through surveys, polls, and social media listening, develops and executes outreach campaigns alongside marketing and admissions departments Arrange for press conferences, interviews, and other media and event appearances for the employer or client Tracking/monitoring client press, sending press placements out to the client in a timely manner, responds to requests for information from media outlets manages press and referral contacts, tracks, evaluates, and shares results of PR efforts, coordinates scheduling and logistics as necessary.
Responsibilities:

Assisting with the setup, facilitation, and organizing of promotional events and attending them to facilitate their success.

Represent BALANCE at events and conferences.

Respond to incoming calls, emails, and requests from prospective referents and clients seeking information about BALANCE’s programs and services.

Outreach to targeted leads to support business development initiatives.

Assist with the design and execution of professional audience marketing campaigns, including conceptual and creative input.

Write descriptions and content for BALANCE professional audience marketing materials.

Expand and maintain the residential treatment center directory and BALANCE provider network.

Assist with the provider vetting process for external collaboration

Manage and update all of BALANCE’s directory and membership listings.

Maintain a conference and events calendar.

Research projects to provide necessary information to support professional relations and marketing.

Assist with administrative tasks related to delivering monthly ROI statistical reporting.
-
Gather data on campaign success by collecting audience feedback.

Liaise with the Admissions team and other departments to ensure proper internal communications regarding events and initiatives.

Monitor the press for eating disorders, body image, and other relevant news

Maintain regular outreach to individual journalists to land center and founder coverage as experts in the field

Helps schedule and assist with center tours

Clear documentation of all efforts, strategies, plans, and results

Assists with regularly submitting to professional blogs

Helps to source branded merchandise and track inventory

Responsible for programming professional virtual webinars, as well as attending as assistant to the moderator
Who You Are:

High School diploma; BSc in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field is a strong advantage.

Proven experience planning and coordinating successful events.

Demonstrates ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.

Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.

Excellent knowledge of Google Drive, Zoom, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Familiarity with Active Campaign, Asana, and Canva is a plus.
