You Reached Out for a Reason

Maybe you almost booked the call before closing the page.
Maybe you told yourself you would come back later.
Maybe part of you still is not sure whether things are “serious enough.”

But something brought you here.

Maybe food, eating, movement, or body image has been taking up more space in your life than you want it to.
Maybe you feel exhausted trying to manage everything in your head.
Maybe part of you wonders if support could actually help.

That part matters.

And you do not need to have everything figured out before talking to someone.

At BALANCE, you receive one-on-one personalized support. Our therapists, dietitians, recovery coaches, and in-house psychiatrist work together to create deeply individualized recovery plans so you never feel like just another number in the system.

You Are Allowed to Feel Unsure

Many people hesitate to schedule a call because they think:

  • “What if I’m overreacting?”
  • “What if I’m not sick enough?”
  • “What if I change my mind?”
  • “What if I’m not ready?”
  • “What if I should just try harder on my own?”

Those thoughts are incredibly common.

Eating disorders and disordered eating thrive in waiting:

  • waiting until things get worse
  • waiting until life slows down
  • waiting until you feel “ready enough”
  • waiting until someone else notices

You do not need certainty before having a conversation. You do not need to be in crisis before deserving support.

What Happens When You Book a Call

A confidential call with BALANCE is simply a chance to talk with someone who understands.

You can:

  • ask questions honestly
  • talk through concerns
  • explore options without pressure
  • include family or loved ones if helpful
  • learn what support could look like for YOU specifically
Support

This is Not:

  • a commitment to treatment
  • a sales pitch
  • pressure to make a decision immediately

It is simply a conversation.

And sometimes that first conversation is the hardest part.

What Support at BALANCE Can Actually Look Like

Many people worry treatment means losing control or being thrown into something overwhelming.

At BALANCE, support is personalized and collaborative.

Depending on your needs, support can include:

  • Supported meals and meal processing
  • Body image work
  • Weekly goal setting
  • Relapse prevention support
  • Family dynamics groups
  • Menu planning and life skills support
  • Yoga and embodiment groups
  • Community and connection groups
  • Nutrition counseling

Our team meets together regularly to discuss every client individually so care continues evolving with what you actually need.

You deserve support that sees you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis.

Why BALANCE Was Created

Melainie Rogers founded BALANCE after recognizing how many people felt unseen, misunderstood, or lost in traditional treatment spaces.

She wanted to create something different: a treatment center that felt more personal, more collaborative, and more human.

More than 20 years later, BALANCE remains independently owned rather than private-equity operated, allowing the team to prioritize individualized care and meaningful relationships with clients and families.

At BALANCE, people are not treated like numbers.
They are treated like people deserving compassionate, specialized support.

You Do Not Need All the Answers Today

You do not need the perfect explanation.

You do not need to know exactly what level of support you need.

And you do not need to wait until things feel “bad enough.”

You just have to be willing to start the conversation.

We will meet you where you are.
