We are pleased to announce we’ve been awarded licensure by the New York State Office of Mental Health.
We have earned accreditations as a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and a Mental Health Clinic. Additionally, we’ve been granted standing as a licensed Telehealth facility.
Founded in 2009 by internationally recognized eating disorder expert Melainie Rogers, BALANCE offers comprehensive levels of outpatient treatment programming to adolescent and adult individuals of all genders.
What does this mean for our clients?
We will now be able to help clients access greater insurance reimbursement through out-of-network benefits.
BALANCE has been dedicated to providing premier eating disorder care for over 12 years. We’ve remained a private pay facility in order to maintain a level of excellence and provide care based on clinical recommendations rather than based on the helm of insurance, which often leaves clients receiving inadequate and ineffective care.
While we have proudly been able to work with thousands of clients of all socioeconomic backgrounds, we know financial barriers remain for many. We strongly believe that eating disorder treatment should be accessible to all.
Therefore we are so thrilled to update you of this development, as this new credentialing will enable us to offer our clients access to more affordable quality care via both virtual and in-person treatment options, while maintaining critical treatment recommendations under the control of our team of expert clinicians.
