BALANCE™ COVID-19 Protocols
COVID-19 has left the world reeling. An unprecedented number of people have found themselves struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating behaviors in response to the enormous stress and uncertainty of this last year.
To best support our community during these challenging times, BALANCE eating disorder treatment center™ is reopening our in-person adult Day Program (PHP) on Monday, September 20th, 2021.
The following COVID-19 policies & procedures are in place on-site to ensure the safety of the BALANCE community.
Before Your Appointment:

Screening questions for COVID-19 symptoms via questionnaire will be asked upon arrival to the front desk reception area.

On the day of your in-person appointment, if you feel unwell, please stay home and call us to reschedule. For detailed information on the signs and symptoms of COVID-19 you can learn more here.
Arrival at BALANCE – Covid-19 Infection Control Measures:

Upon your arrival at BALANCE, all clients and staff will go through our temperature and symptom screening protocols. These will be conducted at the front desk immediately as you enter the space

Please present your proof of vaccination before starting any in-person programs upon arrival.

Both clients and staff must be fully vaccinated upon arrival.

Given the nature of our work, clients and staff are asked to have weekly COVID-19 screening tests. Clients and staff will be asked to organize these at their own convenience. Please report test results to our front desk COVID-19 Protocol Coordinator.
BALANCE’s COVID-19 Facility Protocol

Hospital-grade air filters (Merv-13) have been installed for maximum air filtration and purification.

The Operations team will clean each treatment and group room after every session.

Recovery Coaches will disinfect the kitchen and dining room after each use.

Pen, markers, and pencils are disinfected after every session.

Additional deep cleaning occurs 3x a week.

No guests are allowed on site without special permission at this time.
The health, wellbeing, and safety of our community is our highest priority.
